JPM: The Fifth Sun seems to be a literary departure for you. It is a very modern novel but at the same time there is something timeless about it. The action begins in Rome and moves to New York and Mexico City. After your work on the Europe trilogy, you have again gone back to America and its dichotomies. Steven Jonas’ revised edition of his classic, The 15% Solution, How the Republican Right Took Control of the US, 1981-2022, a futuristic novel outlining in detail how the Christian fundamentalist right could take over the reins of the US government has just entered main distribution through Amazon (US, France, Germany). The tip sheet reads:
